Not bad. Not amazing, but not bad. A decent Castlevania lookalike. Couldn't understand that character screen with the opening and closing cowl and the controls that aren't actually in the game and it took a few button presses to get the game to start. Seemed like that was a character select screen, but there weren't any other characters? That first boss is a real pain with the limited character mobility and how hard it is to hit things, but I guess that's intended to emulate the feel of early Castlevania games.

Elv13s responds:

thanks for checking it out, as stated in the description, this build is not final and yes theres another character, but only in the final build pf the game. the flicker is deliberate and it is actual gameboy controls. there is physical cart of the game but unfortunately, it is sold out and there are no plans to produce more of it. thanks for the playing, appreciate it lots!

it reminds me of a competition that took place in a library near where i live 3 years ago. You had to make the highest score in a castlevania game and you could win a ps4 game (i was the one who did the highest score ;) ). and there was one of the librarians (let's call him J) who was also playing the game and making a higher score than me so it was me vs J (he couldn't really participate he was just doing it for fun but i didn't know first lol). and then, i was becoming his friend and all but even after the competition i wanted to continue to play castlevania because J still had the highest score even if i won and i wanted to beat him. but a few months later, J's librarian friend told me that J died from an anxiety attack. i didn't really know him much but i was still seeing him often because i was always going to this library. I finally decided to not try to beat J's highscore. I don't really know why, maybe to keep a memory of him : his highscore. 47450.

We will miss you, Bud.

good

It won't let me add more faves. so. FAVE. Thank you.

I don't know if this is just a problem with the third slot, but I can't load it. It saves correctly and says I'm on stage 2, but when I try to play on that slot it just starts a new game on slot 1. :(
