Hey there, pal!
Do you remember an old classic called "Pico's Unloaded"? Remember how you got mesmerized by the animation itself, with how cool it's fighting and shooting was?
Have you ever thought:
"Hmm, I wonder - how would it be like if there was an FPS game based upon this animation? And not just an FPS game, but an Old-Doom style like game, with various weapons, locations and different foes to fight; a game made with quality and professionalism that it deserves - how would it look like?"
Well F#!k you, here's a half-assed Unity game made by an incompetent moron.
This whole project took me 2 days to complete, so the quality is, understandably, not that great - but I promised myself that I would participate in this years Pico Day and contribute something to the community (even thought the contribution could be compared to a smudge of shit with sticks). I hope that I'll return to this project when I have more free time on my hands, since my hands are currently occupied as of the time I'm writing this.
Even with all of this, I hope everyone has a happy Pico Day, and that everyone keeps creating and sharing the good work of the Newgrounds community.
This project is...
Using characters Pico and Überkids, created by Tom Fulp;
Mainly inspired by "Pico's Unloaded", an animation by MindChamber;
Using "Doom Style Industrial Metal - Torn Flesh", a music piece by Karl Casey at White Bat Audio.
Newgrounds: Everything by Everyone.
P.S. Tom Fulp, MindChamber - if by any chance you see this.....
I'm so so SO sorry...

this game sent me into a fit of laughter
and this game sent me into a fit of embarrassment
It's quite janky, but concept-wise, I really enjoy it. I'd love to play a Pico-inspired DOOM wad, or a Pico-inspired boomer shooter in general. Maybe you could expand on it? I don't really like the maze-like level, it feels really disorienting. Still, hone your craft, this is a neat little project.
Yeah, the map isn't that good - I can agree with you on that. I was working against the clock for two days straight so that I wouldn't miss the date (not that's a good excuse for how janky this whole game is). I really want to get back to the game and fix/add all the things I want, but as of know - my hands are quite tied, with not a lot of free time to spare.
