When making Risky Boots, I made a useful toggle so that her feet would lock into "heels mode." That way I didn't have to create a separate armature or an overcomplicated system. It's pretty rudimentary.
I'm looking for ways to improve it so that animation edits are as few as possible. Here's a test that uses Adobe Mixamo's catwalk animation (ported to work with my IK rig)
