20 years ago, Daisuke "Pixel" Amaya released his passion project video game, and Cave Story since has become a mainstay in the hearts and minds of millions all around the world, impacting indie culture and video game development forever. Thank you, Pixel. Created this little animation to celebrate the occasion, as Cave Story is one of the most important games to me, and has inspired me all throughout my life.
