I thought this game was pretty good! I just wish it could have something like megaman's dash where it's a quick move that could get you out of danger. Something like that or a run button would be really cool to see! Wish you the best!
Play as Robochan and use your fire power, with different kinds of weapons, to defeat the evil robot menace!
- How to Play -
Keyboard (Default):
- LEFT ARROW: move left
- RIGHT ARROW: move right
- UP ARROW: move cursor up in menus / climb ladders up
- DOWN ARROW: move cursor down in menus / climb ladders down
- C: jump
- X: shoot
- Z: bomb
Press DOWN + JUMP to drop down from some platforms.
Press UP or DOWN near a ladder to grab it and climb it.
Collect Blue Orbs to recover Energy and Amber Orbs to increase Power.
With the Power Gauge full, press BOMB to release a devastating attack.
You can REMAP the keyboard keys from the Title Screen's Main Menu, by going to OPTIONS > CONTROLS.
The game is also compatible with XInput gamepad.

After almost a year working to improve the game, it's finally done.
The feedback I've received about the previous version has been very useful.
I've redesigned each stage trying to make the difficulty increase progressively in a fair way. I've tried my best to avoid unfair difficulty spikes.
Some sprites were remade to look better. I've also changed how some platforms work. For example, boxes and containers are now "jump through" platforms, not solid platforms anymore.
I tried my best here to design something fun to play and nice to look at, bringing back the nostalgia of the 8 bits graphics. I wish I could have done some parts better, but that's OK. If there's any imperfection or any mistake here, I'll try to make it better in my next projects.

Thank you! Yeah, a dash move would have been pretty cool. But, unfortunately, I didn't know how to do it when I made the game. And I didn't want to make a move that was cool but full of bugs and glitches. I focused on making a well polished game, so I had to leave some complex things aside. Maybe I'll make a dash move and other mechanics in my next platform game.

Daammm the boss is extremely hard
The first boss has a repetitive movement sequence. If you focus on understanding the pattern, you'll be able to predict its movements and figure out the best time to attack. Thanks for your feedback! 😄
