this is
fan/animutation at its greatest and at its heart, brilliant, but the misheard lyrics werent that funny
Awesome.
An awesome animutation. Bug-eyed Hatten År Din people singing a weird DDR song with a guy who looks vaguely like George Washington and a creepy zombie-like thing while some other stuff, mostly animated gifs and screenshots of an old DOS game called A-Maze (Dwedit was wrong, there are no ZZT references in here, at least not that I noticed). The only things wrong with this are the image reuse (not a big problem), the George Washington-lookalike being way off to the right of the screen most of the time (make the middle frame where he's not skewed at all the first frame and re-align the images to solve that problem), and some of the gifs (most notably the smileys with the LOL sign) not being sped up to match the craziness of the rest of the animation. But this is still awesome.
a medium movie at a medium pace.
various spaceships and aged computer graphics move through a collage of pictures set in motion to the rythm of a rather catchy swing beat.
This movie belongs somewhere in the middle of the animutation pack. It doesn't have the meticulous attention to detail that many of the cuttng edge animutation artists display, but it is a hundred times better than the crap some people throw together and call animutation. The song is catchy and subtitled badly, as it should be, and there are many moving pictures from different sources. call it a collage set in motion. However, it lacks a few things we have come to expect from anmutations. the pictures are too square. all the characters are relevant to a basic plot. tiny things that you miss if you blink are not present. in short, this was like getting a ham and cheese sandwich with no mustard.
