I get it. Our emotions drive us to the will to survive. Thats what I got out of the movie but those weird clocks in the back ground kinda distracted me lol.

speaking personally i dont believe in god. if you go into a christian chatroom everyone immediately insults you and condemns you to hell if you dont believe what they believe. religion has caused too many wars as far as i'm concerned. im not sure what i believe in, possibly reincarnation, it seems to make the most sense. i was told when a person dies they can contact you through dreams. when my dad was dying i dreamt he told me he was ok now and there was nothing to worry about. then my mum woke me up and told me he had just passed away. there is a meaning to life. as long as its nothing to do with a 'god' i'm ok with that.

I hope you are right. It's also a very touching story, about your father contacting you in your dreams. That's a very nice way to accept death after learning of it. But I have my doubts on reincarnation - if we truly then reinhabit new mortal coils... why is there a continuous stream of new souls with bodies? It's supposed to be a balance, right?
Still, hard to argue about that. Some things seem feasable, yet are easily discarded as 'faith matters' and not 'scientifical or factual enough'.
Funny you mentioned Christians - I got a mail from one of those fanaticists, banishing me to Hell. Ow well. At least my spot will be ascertained ^_^ *cackles evilly*
