Well, its pretty difficult to write a heavy metal song about daisies, Perfect loves...etc.. So the alternative(what you speak of) can be more aggressive. I generally write about the decay of society. Because its the truth, it's there...and I can be metaphoric about it, as well, and write some pretty raunchy lyrics. haha.
There was a cool heavy metal song submitted by XxCowMeatxX about getting eaten by a bear.
