Ive only seen cowboy bebop once, and that was the episode where spike and jet or whatever get a video and they go looking for a tv and video player.

he was sort of rambling through the scenes...>.<
i was first expecting that he (i couldn't really hear his name..) state his whereabouts first, not just somewhere in the present. (sort of made me assume he's in Japan or in a bathroom somewhere or something..-_-').
it would be even nicer if you gave us a glimpse in the flashbacks he saw and the future ahead. maybe very short flashes on the screen would do. the camera also could've moved around him more to add some "samurai"-ish effect, kind of like when Kenshin's in battle for example.
and the graphics could use a bit more polishing around the edges, maybe making him look less like a samurai and more like... a typical guy, but with a strange aura around him... something that'll distinguish him from a crowd. The Samurai of the Present should LOOK like the present in my view. but this is your flash and I'm just merely suggesting. i hope most of what's in here helped. best of luck on your series. ^^
