Great job
I'm an experienced bass player, and I think you did a great job on this. It's probably not so great for someone learning on their own, because there are too many difficult concepts just thrown at you. As an aid to teaching, however, I think this is probably better than anything written in a book. It's a great way to apply the media to something besides sheer entertainment.
The one criticism that I have is that you should proofread a little better. It would make it all a little bit more polished.
If you ever feel like making a really advanced version, you could make the notes on the fretboard into buttons that would play the note, or just make a button to play the scale or arpeggio.
Thanks for the info, my beautiful wife proofread it when she got back in town.I've been playing bass for 'bout 10 or so years now, & everyone I've tried to explain this to verbally gives me strange looks, but now, since I have a visual tool, they seem a lot more understanding. When I started playing bass I was frustrated that the Mel Bay bass book had the same Ionian scale.Hopefully this flash will open doors for other people. That is what my true intent was,I mean even if they just learn the scales it'll give'em 7 different things they can play.

I'm learning bass, and this is helpful. I think.. maybe what you can do is add sound effects. Such as when the chord is hit, make the sound. Or an interactive one, just like the game SIMON. You can teach us how to play bass like that. Just an idea...
that was cool
very informative
Nice
This was a very innovative and thought out use of flash. I don't play the bass, and probably never will, but I think that this could lead to some very good applications of flash. Lucky Sevens Baby!
