nice choice in music, graphics seem a little better in this movie also. this movie seems to have a different style to it and like that. You did some good frame by frame as well.

Wow ive got a new review screen ;)
I started reviewing this after watching it once, I then went through the flash pausing it and watching it and reviewing bit by bit, I didnt understand why an earth there was a man being beaten and stabbed into a pulp. I think I get it now, and actually the flash has gone up alot in my estimations.
The graphics are round about medium I would say, although perhaps the worst bit of your graphics, with the scribbly hands was the most effective; it fitted into the flash very nicely. Usually I think the style mark is a waste and we should have an originality box instead, that is not the case here, style is everything.
Half the flash is indeed its writing, the text is odd, quirky, its telling a story of some kind, which comes together at the end (to a degree). Is it all about the fact her best friend doesnt like her anymore?
I think the flash was more about fear than rage, I couldnt see rage anywhere (someone has already got the name though?, so you went for rage). I think newgrounds is full of blood and gore, and in most cases the violence isnt needed; it becomes an art for some people, when I say art I mean an art where the movements and the fall of the blood are the art. At the end it says something like look what you have done to my heart, the man who has taken a beating an obviously the girls heart. But what do the two men have to do with anything; clearly this flash is deep but I have no idea how deep or exactly what has happened.
The music/sound is well done; the strength of this piece is entirely in the atmosphere it creates. Seeing as I cant work out exactly what the flash is (my review has more questions than answers!) this review has been very difficult to write and the flash is difficult to rate. But based on the fact that there seems to be some kind of intelligence in the story, the fact that it has made me think and the atmosphere is so good im going to give it a 9. No offence but looking at your skill in flash compared to that of other people I think you have done an amazing job with this, there are people making flashes on newgrounds with plenty of skill but no ideas (they usually end up doing pointless fight scenes). I hope if your next works (emotive perhaps could describe this one) that you move away from the more sinister and macabre flash style and try to make something a little less, well, horrible.
Perhaps you wondered why I gave it a 1 for humour? it clearly isnt funny, but when I read the paper extracts I couldnt help but notice the rest of the report was on page 3; probably not the best place for it (if you are familiar with the page 3 of an English paper), it made me smile anyway.

The story is 'not' about her best friend not liking her anymore, its just a rather unforgettable event in the past which the "father" remembered.. It doesn't actually relate to her death
The flash is about rage, haha and I actually made that flash before I even knew about NG :)
I don't know whats on page 3 of a paper (lol) I just picked a random number for a page actually, whats on page 3 anyway?
