Reviews for "Lightbulb Sketch"

lol

that was good.... if only it had been longer

A little extra for the viewers

Ok, I guess I should review this, considering I drew the original comic.
With that being said, I think this is easily the coolest thing ever. Having done Whatever for almost 5 years now, it was a real treat to see them animated. Hopefully, we can get some longer ones done in the future.
Also, I saw one of the reviews said that it was a little on the short side. I'm probably to blame for that. Y'see, the animation is pretty much a direct translation from the original comic strip. In the strip, it seemed much longer. When animated, the gag is quite brief.
Anyhoo, hope everyone enjoys this and at least checks out more Whatever cartoons at the website!

Not quite the comic

I've been reading whatever for some time now on keen and I love it. I'm not sure the flash really compares in quality of storytelling but it was still nice to see the charachters moving around. I'd like to think there is some symbolic significance behind the broken idea but its probably just a nice quick gag to see a sad chris. Nice to see it on NG where it cab be an ad too. Its a great comic that deserves to be spread around.

mattfox responds:

Thanks for the review. This wasn't originally intended to be an animation, so the translation did lose a little of the humor. Eliot thanks you for your support though. If you want to see the original comic, click on the present when it comes on screen.

If it is your roomates u should let him submit it.

Nice fluid animation. Very Very clear. Make it longer and then u got suttin good!

I dont get it

I didnt get it. Why did he give the broken lightbulb to someone as a gift?

Oh well, you are a good animator and I still voted 5.

And why was there a devil in it?
