Mediocre at Best
When I first saw the name MacBeth on NG, I was pretty sure it was going to be something silly, but you pleasantly surprised me by creatng a serious piece.
Unfortunately, as the flash when on, my surprise faded to skepticism and on into boredom.
I applaud your effort to create a cultural piece, one based on what is in my opinion one of the greatest tradgedies ever penned, however I cannot help but feel underwhelmed by the quality of it.
The animation itself is is boring to watch. While I know the slowness of it may have been to convey gravity, it was too damn slow. It seemed as if the characters all moved through a pool filled with jelly, which detracted from the heaviness of the script in a very unpleasant manner.
The sound was also poor. The music was louder than the words, so if I didn't already know what the witches and Banquo were saying, I'd have had no clue what was going on.
Perhaps, should you choose to continue the play, you might speed up the animation and give each moment a little more meaning, as well as cleaning up the sound.
I enjoy Shakespeare's work very much, and it is a shame to see it poorly performed.
In short: Thank you for creating a flash based on such an important and influential piece of literature, but please do it justice.
