i see the similiarity in one of the samples - in the very intro of this tune there's one that's somewhat similiar to a sample in the tune you're talking about. most samples in my tune i've made from scratch however, and i aimed for an 8-bit sound, since COW is supposed to have a little bit of sonic+megaman/platform feel to it.
othervice the only similarity i hear is that the game&watch tune is a breakbeat - at a much slower tempo than my tune. i never heard the game&watchtune before, but i do see what you're getting at. it's difficult to be original nowadays, my tune right here mainly grew from a few basic thoughts (wanting to mix some 8-bit with dnb-style), and pretty much got made inspired from the effects i made on the synths.
i hate when somone manage to find similiarities to already existant tunes, though in this case i honestly don't think it's all that alike, even though like i said i can see what you're getting at. some elements are more or less bound to be found in other tunes, be it a chord-progression, a portion of the melody, a sample or whatever... that's just how it is today, i'm afraid. :(
