Reviews for "Armada Assault 1"

This game isn't bad.

It's not awful, it's completely playable. It possesses a total absence of suck. But it's nothing special. Its biggest problem is balance. All the weapons are cheap enough to buy in the first few levels, and some of the cheapest are the best--the plasma main and the slasher secondary pwn everything else. You might want to check out Project Monochrome for some good shootemup weapon balancing. Still, that said, this is a perfectly passable game. Nice job.

Great game!

The graphics were clean and nice-looking, the waves of enemies swift and chaotic. Boss fights were done nicely!

One small problem though...I felt a little cheated after spending $1000+ on a secondary weapon only to have it suck and go back to my $200 Blader. The Flamer in particular was junk, it wasn't all that powerful and had no range at all. You might want to rethink which weapons should be how expensive and available when IMO the best, most destructive weapon in the game was affordable before you even start the first level...

wat does the pluse projectile do?!??!?!?!?!?!??!!!

lol i'm trying to figure it out.. all i no is : it cost 630 bucks.. and it goes though enemy... without damageing them...???????

make a second one!!!!

It was fun

I thought it was a pretty good game. A problem here and there but not bad.

rather good game

I don't know what is up with the recent bad reviews. The game has good graphics and good game play.

Remember this game was made in 2005, give the author a break.

The only things that I have a complaint about is that the secondary weapons should have a more explaination than the picture and name as to what they do. Another complaint is that you pretty much are able to buy everything rather early, by 4th or 5th level. But by then you need to buy lives anyway.

9/10 and 5/5
