Okay, I just got the chance to watch this right now. And I must say, this is infinitely better than the first.
First, the graphics were tighter, flowed smoother, and everything looked quite well. My only gripe would be on the choice of contemporary animation. By that I mean the background before a matchup or heat waves drawn with the circle tool so that they looked suspiciously crisp (no pun intended). Other than that, I loved it. I especially liked the way the entire enviroment was "alive", with the spinning of the fanblades and everything.
Style, I have no idea what the guy before me means by "consistancy". I can't notice a thing. If anything, I'm noticing that it's getting better and better. The battles were smooth, original, and quite exciting. I love the way you make it come down to the wire. Although I was expecting (and somewhat hoping) that the second match would end in a tie. The introductions before a matchup were also very cool, because of the way in which you combined the traditional stances with a new "Samurai showdown" type thing. Awesome.
Sound was perfect as could be. And I like how the ending theme looped itself perfectly. Bravo!
Violence I loved. I appreciate the lack of gore.
Now that I know you don't really do easter eggs, it's an 8 for the play and replay buttons. THough a menu with scene select would've been nice, though not needed at all.
Humor gets the 3, for the ironic first matchup.
Overall, I'm really looking forward to the next, and all I can say is "Good luck!"
