Reviews for "rotation"

Why do I find this so damn cool?

spacefader responds:

It's the hidden mind control I put in the image!

I don't quite understand what produces that kind of shadows on the breasts and above them.
Which is why this deserves 5/5.
I really like how you humbly describe it as "just a rotation animation".
Were you studying some real-life examples to get those shadows, or did you not use references?

spacefader responds:

I used references, the lighting is quiet hard(as in spot lit, not hard as in difficult) and from the middle of the body but quiet close so it is kind of under the breasts and the face. Yeah I had a bit of issues resolving the shadows for the front on position.

great anim, just........ da face

Some seem to be wondering the shadows above breasts but those are actually correctly made. I had to test it out in Maya 2014 3D modelling program and got same results :)

Btw for future I recommend you to check out some 3D model viewer programs where you can put the plank human body in position you want to and move the light source/s around as you please.
Because you seem to favor alot 2 step shadows/lightings in your beautiful art style, seeing the shadows in 3D model can help alot when drawing/animating in 2D.

5/5 perfect. And dat face<3

spacefader responds:

Yeah thanks. I have been looking in to 3d modeling as a reference for complex 3d movement. I am trying 3d max, do you think maya is easier or is it much of a muchness?

Looks great! Loving the way the shadows are moving! ;D
