here's a tip
STOP KILLING THE PEOPLE AFTER 300 FOR A WHILE. Lower lethality to zero, but raise the infectivity. Do this, and you'll be able to kill the world in under 90 days.

A really good game! I especially liked how you upped the difficultty (a LOT) in number II.
One of the best strategies that I've found is to sell everything off but the sneezing symptom at the beginning of the game and then max out all of the infectious properties. This gets people infected in every country and ensures that you'll win without having someone close those obnxious borders on you.
Once that's done, max out everything else and you'll have the entire human race killed off in no time!! My best with this strategy is with 116 days left.

SPOILER
1.turn off human only
2.remove everything in the lethality bar
3.wait for every region to be infected
4.by now you should have enough points to check every box(except "human only")
5.in about 25 turns everyone should be dead
