haha that was a simple, short but very funny animation, nice idea using bricks those tricky bricks :)
Fluid motion, minor discrepancies.
As always, much of the rating I give is primarily based on how fluid the animation is; unless specifically aimed for a particular style, smoothly-transitioned movements are perhaps THE key aspect to gaining and keeping a viewer's attention, as we are naturally more attuned to things that move like they would in real life, in terms of fluidity.
That said, much of your flash was well comprised with this concept, although perhaps the final seconds in which Mario rapidly expands thanks to the curse of the mushroom were slightly more blocky than others. There were more than enough surprises, such as his hitting his head on the tops of one of the bricks when attempting to jump down, to keep me watching until the end!
My only qualm about this is that some flash objects in your submission remain UNUSED during the course of the movie, which brings to mind possibilities that could have ever so slightly heightened the creative experience; perhaps the treasure chest could have only released the "GAME" whereas the "?" block on the right side activated to toss in the "OVER"?
Knowing this was college class practice, I understand that perfection is not expected, but I definitely see progress in this interesting type of media, so keep at it!
very funny and nicely animated
But why is it so short ? :D i would like to see more of your work
Haha! Funny!
I think that this was pretty funny! Maybe you could make a game out of this!
