nice start
its a start. when you do sprites make sure you make that the individual sprites are lined up right. it is tedious work but it makes it look more clean cuz those sprites were moving too much for a standing motion. i suggest you look at some of the sprite tutorials on the internet before you submit again.
buttons were wrong

I really can't give this a high score.
The framerate was quite choppy, with the moves not too original. As well, there's no real reason for Sonic to Deus Ex Machina with the change into Super Sonic. If he had found the seven emeralds, then why is Shadow fighting him?
As well the background was static, no movement at all.
It's a decent attempt, but there's a lot of work that needs to be done. Good work with it and keep it up. Just keep practicing till ya get it right. :)
