Reviews for "Dream Adventure!"

o.O

...I think this is the only animation of yours that gives credit to the username, "EmptyGoddess"

Btw, is your name really Jillius Hilliums? Because that would be awesome.
10/10
5/5

Emptygoddess responds:

Yeah, that would be cool.

not bad

it was a great job and definitly deserves front page

Emptygoddess responds:

Glad you think so.

I think I really felt the message here

Thank you for making this. It's quite revealing. I think my reactions from this are a little bit more different (and longer) than the average reviewer (and yes, I do play a lot of video games).
Yes, there are those out there who might have played a bunch of video games-many more than other "normal people." But it doesn't necessarily mean that they've wasted their lives away.
It's like saying that people who read many more fictional novels, watched many more movies, or viewed many more works of art than the norm have wasted their lives on the unreal and the fantasy. They seem to be praised much higher than the average video gamer, but in comparison, they're walking encyclopedias of equally useless knowledge (unless they're training for Jeopardy or something.)
But they'd be really wasting it if they don't go out and share those experiences with others who would be able and willing to listen and discuss, to help people create more meaningful works of the things that they enjoy. That's where the difference is.
Living alone and keeping your thoughts to yourself-that's where wasting life really happens. Just keeping it all to yourself. Playing video games all by yourself without any intent of sharing the experiences. That's true emptiness.
If you enjoyed games in your past life, then that's that. You should cherish those experiences, not regret them. People who are addicted to video games or who are deluded enough to think they'll actually get some tangible, physical prize as a consequence of beating a game (actual game competitions are the exception) are a whole separate story altogether.
Thus, the message that you only have one life is simple and obvious. Of course we do. But I believe to treat video games as some separate, "bad" thing apart from what we consider life experiences, all because you won't ever get the princess or get some immediate reward, is just wrong, and is likely a culmination of the negativity that society seems to place upon gaming.

Emptygoddess responds:

Hey, considering we all end up the same in the end it's hard to say any experience is truly bad or good.

...

The message of the movie, i can relate to it...

Emptygoddess responds:

Just don't relate with it. That's illigal in some states.

Wow.

Wow. This wasn't what I was expecting at all but I'm glad I saw it. Adding it to my favorites too. I think this is something that crosses the mind of all of us introverts. I do wish the text hadn't eaten itself near the end; but I understand why it was done that way.

I actually just found out last week that I may have an infection that can kill me. So this Flash hit really close to home and actually nearly made me cry. You did well in your animation to be able to cause such a powerful reaction.

Good job, seriously.

Emptygoddess responds:

I hope you get through the infection okay.

If you don't... I'm... sorry I made your last days more depressing then they would have been.
