Reminds me of my first flash XD
Entertaining. But...
...It needs a little work. The artwork is a little too simple for such a create-a-character game. Make it a little more detailed, so that more interesting combinations can be made.
Because you're utilising all the creation space with the items, you can't have that many items. You might think of making a selection side menu. Then you can create more items for a player to use.
Don't forget a loading bar. It can be a little irritating when you don't know how long to wait for the game to be ready.
Good start for your first game submission. But give it that little extra "something", and I'm sure it can be more entertaining.
