Thanks WinterWind!
Nah, I don't mind sharing the story. :D
In my story, there is a whole population of people living unknowingly in a artifical world. (Kinda like the matrix, but not.) The story is a parody of the Legend of Zelda series, so at the end, I decided to write an ocarina solo that one of my character plays to send everyone back to their real home. :D (Complicated, I know. :P) That's why there is a fanfare in the middle of the song. :D
Do I sense Final Fantasy Tiara?
This rivals most stuff I've heard on this site, and as always you are making harmonic and wonderful stuff.
But harsh as I am, I'd say that this can still be a bit better at the clarity---just sounds VERY snes/midi'ish.
Which could be a good thing.
But I have this thing for realism.
Anyhow, don't let me make you unmotivated.
You're a great composer, you'll get far.
Always wanting more.

lol! :D
That was kind of the effect I was going for. (In a way, I was basing this melody off of Zelda's lullaby, with the ocarina solo, along with the piano and low cello. :D)
But I'll try my best to make things more realistic. :D I can't afford to buy Garritain's Personal Orchestra right now, or even Reason 3, but as soon as I do, that's when I will do my best to make all my pieces sound better.
Thanks Christian! ^_^ You are a great composer and mentor, and I know for a fact you will get far! :O :)
Going home...
this can EASILY be used in ANY game... its so wonderful, and gentle... I can see the hero basking in the light, sitting under a tree on a cliff, the wind gently brushing against the tall grass, the birds nesting.
The whole works.
That ocarina sounds so incredible, you must tell me where you found it.
I don't think anything should be added to this piece at all, just extended, its damn perfect the way it is right now.
5/5 from me smartpoetic, keep them coming!
Thanks MaestroSorrow! ^_^
I'm glad you've told me what you have imagined. :D You almost hit the nail on the head. ;) (Check out the response for WinterWind to see the story behind the song. :D)
I actually found this library by a brillant OC remixer named Darkesword. It is called the TGS(and then a bunch of random numbers. :P) I've looked for that same library again, but I can't find it anymore. (I might have to email it to you. ;) )
Anyway, thanks for the review! ^_^
