OH GOD IT'Z SO DIFFIKALT~!!!
A decently fun game, but it takes a while to get used to the hitting. The in-game explanation isn't all that helpful, and even though I eventually got the hang of it I'm still not sure what that blue/green thing at the side of the strike zone is supposed to be doing.
I think that starting the player out having to hit a home run might be a little much, as it's pretty difficult to do at first. Why not start out with the "hit all 5 pitches" one, go to the "3 sections of the field" one, and then the home run? I can see a lot of players giving up on the game just because the first challenge is too difficult when you're just starting.
I encountered a few bugs in the game, and although they're not a huge deal you might want to consider fixing them. 1) If you hit the ball over the outfield wall in foul territory, the screen still displays "home run" even though it (rightly) doesn't count. 2) During the challenge where you have to hit the ball into a zone that randomly moves about the field, there is no way to know where the zone is until after you hit the ball, meaning you have to waste a pitch every time it moves just so you can know where to aim. 3) When you win the game, the "submit score" link doesn't do anything.
All in all, I enjoyed playing this game despite the learning curve. I think it could really be something with a few adjustments, like an improved explanation for the hitting mechanics. More challenges would also be good.
Good mechanics, not very original...
Uh... the guy's hands are in the wrong position at the pre-loader
Has anyone passed the first challenge???
