Reviews for "Super Blue"

i have to admit for your third game,it was awesome.but it was very hard,which makes it GOOD!I didnt make to the finish yet but i still really enjoy a good ol' simple game where a ball is trying to collect alll the coins and make it to the finish.by the way,good luck learning the falsh codes and i hope you make more awesome games.I give Super Blue 5/5 stars because it was your third game.

thanks!! very happy by your response. =D

Nice for your third game but still needs more work on. Try to make the background move like the clouds and the sun turn to night. Also if the ball hits the pointed part of the arrow, then have the health go down. For the start icon, has it as a button instead just letters so it's easier to click on it. Good job but needs more work.

thanks!=D

please add volume controls

okay

Meh. Graphics are simple but I'm ok with that. What bugs me the most are the hitboxes. You make moving, rotating stuff which take health from you without touching it. Some fancyer collision then a hitTestObject (I assume) would improve this a lot.

Some other things
-When you fall and have to start over it would be nice if your health is restored to.
-You have to click the letters of your buttons, I mean if I click inside the open space of an "o" the button doesn't work
-For this game your other collision (ground, walls) is ok imo. it is far from perfect but not as big a deal as the collision with enemies.
-The jumping and walking physics seem fine.

I think if you work on these things you can make a nice game, good luck!

tahnks!!

A few things, should you decide to continue making games:

First, hitboxes. Having things damage you when you aren't anywhere near them is annoying and frustrating. Make sure the hitboxes are applied properly.

Second, the music. It tends to not be a good idea to have super loud music in your games. Just providing some sort of volume control, or just not making it that loud in the first place, would be appreciated.

Other than that, this wasn't enjoyable, really, but it was a game, and you have potential. Good luck on your next project.
