I like everything about this. But, if I may correct you, that sexy lizard was a skink, not a basilisk.

I love your constant references to ancient mythology (Tlaloc was the Aztec god of water, rain, and storms. His wife, Chalchiuhtlique, or Calamity, is his female counterpart, goddess of the rainfall, oceans, and rivers.)
