Reviews for "Eternal Duel of Wits: ST"

Slow learning curve in the beginning but once you get the hang of it, it's gripping. Great pacing in the tutorial. It started simple and kept piling on the layers neatly.

Minor criticism: the resolution should've been higher so that the graphics could've been magnified a little more as the screen feels a little crowded yet still small.

I can't believe how well thought out this is from a logical and competitive perspective. I'll be playing this on and offline with silly pieces of paper instead. I'd buy it if you made it into an Uno-like card set.

Cool. Could use a chat feature for multiplayer.

This is an excellent card system prior to character selection, but I wish I could play it without that part. The characters are given stat points which all add up to 17, which is a bad idea since Int is easily the strongest stat, Charisma is okay, and Guile is very weak (after all, Reading is far more effective than relying on Certainty, and you basically get a free Read per Chain for every Int point advantage). Einstein basically crushes all the others -- understandable, but still.

Thanks for the feedback! Might I suggest a Skirmish mirror match? That way no one has any advantage in any stat.

In our testing, it seemed like the three stats were at least roughly balanced, but we are keeping an eye out for any balance issues that need addressing in future releases.

Awesome game! Not usually a strategy game person, but this one is very different and a lot of fun. Great ideas, cool people to choose from, great art and music. Nice job!

Wonderful! A favorite, to be sure! 5 stars, and no quarter given!

Only one issue... the icon presented is not a "Podium" - it is a "Lectern".

A Podium is something you step up onto. A Lectern is something you stand behind.

I suppose that I'm as stringent about my Greek as I am about my arguments... but in this one case, I'm sure you'll forgive me!
