Reviews for "Winter: No Evil 003"

I sorta get the little joke, I think.....

Anywho, I really do love the simple humor of this short animation. I also think that being random and not really telling a story straight though just shows how very unique your creations are. Why be the same as everyone else when you can just be you!

THANK YOU i've been asking the question for months!GREAT VIDEO!

I don't get it (when I talk about your critics on this one).
I heard everything quite well, there wasn't any wierd accent, or slang, or onomatopoeias.
The thing I do understand is that with the reptiles, they weren't behaving in the some manner as the mammals apparently were in regards to the fashion choice.

Honestly, that is confusing, since some reptiles are actually far more maternal and protective of young than mammals, and female reptiles act more girlish and feminine than female mammals do.
I think you were portraying reptiles very poorly in this animation, but that's OK.
I got 1 of the 2 jokes you made, and the joke was made very well.

You did very well on this and I enjoyed it greatly.

Warlord-of-Noodles responds:

Frankly this isn't 100% scientific (which Is why i used a literature reference....that no one seems to see, but oh well). In mesoamerican myth, Quetzalcoatl is portrayed as being a very peaceful and pure and is adept at healing(kiiiind of a sensitive man). Chalchiutlicue is a being of life, and justice (being the bringer of the great flood to turn all evil men into fish...not terribly sensitive). Both of these characters are associated with serpents. Which in most mainstream cultures are portrayed as unjust bringers of death and deception.

After this I had to go and watch all of your other animations in the series, and I absolutely love it! You are amazing, and probably my favorite animator so far! I can't wait to see what happens in your next episode.

For those of you who didn't understand the joke, Kitty says; "Reptiles are backwards." referring to both Calamity and Corn's attitude toward the coats. Calamity didn't like it, while Corn didn't seem to mind.

Warlord-of-Noodles responds:

Thanks, dollface, You are Incorrect though.

I had to replay the ending a few times to hear what Kitty said, then just went to the comments because I couldn't. Read the solution to the joke a few pages back... but man... that's just far too abstract. Still... i love the characters, love the series, and the amphibious one has such a fun, unique voice. (And downright stunning singing in the other episodes). I've played Bunny FooFoo and the start of Rip an' Vinkle just to hear her "cry" songs, though they last but a few short seconds.
