Reviews for "Slaughter in Taiji"

Great Game! I've been looking for more games like Polar Bear Payback!
If the dolphin moved faster and had more lives and maybe weapon upgrades it would be even better!

friedfishcomics responds:

thanks Polarbear226, I'm actual working on a improved version of this game which will include some weapon upgrade and much more...I might even let the dolphin swim faster ;-) This was for me the first game I ever made and was more for me to get to know the software

great game, can't wait to play

friedfishcomics responds:

Thanks man, hope you have fun with this!

Another fun multidirectional game the controls are nice once you get use to them but overall it's a fun lil game here

~X~

A game with a message! The controls are a bit odd to get used to (why not have a regular menu/buttons in addition to keyboard shortcuts?), and the dolphin movement's a bit stiff, but the game itself isn't bad. The idea's unique and staying out of harms way is a balanced challenge. Guess it wouldn't be the same without the long time it takes to turn, you really need to plan a route. Keep it going!

friedfishcomics responds:

Thanks for your review. I agree the control are a bit odd, but I kind of like it that way. The dolphin is indeed a bit stiff and i am not liking the rotating point.
I am working on improving these on the sequel, and for sure the dolphin would be less stiff then. I've got the animation ready for this. Hope to see you for the sequel.

Nice idea but the gameplay was a little boring. Also the controles were bad. Good luck with the sequel ;) And maybe consider animations (just 2 sprites would be enough to make it more lively)

friedfishcomics responds:

Thanks for your comment Superwayne. This was infact my first game ever, so it was more of an experiment for me to see what I could do with the software. But for sure the game play will improve in the sequel. Not sure about the controls, but the animation is already there ;-)
