Reviews for "Gotterdammerung"

this is great! a strange world where you are lost to find yourself :) it was short but there should be more options like what if i wanted to stay lost? the lovers were perfectly happy perhaps i (the player) would be too. Also what's in the light? thought provoking words yes but is that it?

OblivionForEver responds:

The original concept was much grander in scope, but i cut it down so i would ever get around to finish it :)

Along with some concept i cut from this game i have ideas of perhaps adding multi choice options, alternative endings, inventory and a more expansive storyline. Mayhaps something for a future sequel?

As for what's in the light... there was about four more lines after you entered the light that i cut from the game just about 10 minutes before publishing. I thought it was a shame to bring an absolute answer into such an ambiguous environment... :)

Thank you for your review!

The ending was beautiful.

OblivionForEver responds:

I'm glad you enjoyed the ending :)
I hope the rest of it wasn't all that bad either!
Thanks for the review!

Beautiful. Consistent, subdued yet persistent mood throughout.

Music at the end very good. Wish I knew what the end quote was referring to, was it the use of the H-Bomb during WW2? Not sure how that might fit into the overall story/setting of the game but still nice.

My only complaint would be the spelling mistakes but I didn't take any points off because I imagine english isn't your native tongue. My only other issue would be the length/depth of story but in a way, short and sweet is better for this type of thing and the more in-depth you go with a thing like this the more you have to define it, and it's better left more open to interpretation. Very nice, thank you.

A bit short and not much to do, but it was made up for by the atmosphere, scenery and poetic aspects of it all. I liked the ending.

that ending just what i can't explain it cause i don't understand it thats just wow
