Reviews for "Gravity Block"

its k

thebrobotic responds:

Added sounds/music & stuff!

This thing is like flappy bird that automatically inverts itself at times.

An interesting concept, but utterly flawed.

thebrobotic responds:

Hi DarkFire, if you have any input on how to remove those flaws I'd love to hear them. Thanks.

That makes me mad is the gravity flipped out when I'm really near to the obstacle, so I hit the obstacle and died ...

thebrobotic responds:

The original version was more of a straight up Flappy Bird clone and it was MUCH more difficult. I found that this way, you have multiple routes to pass the obstacles. Thanks for playing and for leaving feedback.

Angry birds clone.

Looks nice enough, it really needs some sort of warning for when the gravity shifts though.

Most of the time it was the change in polarisation that took me by surprise and killed me.

thebrobotic responds:

Added a warning effect for the gravity flip. Let me know what you think? I heard this feedback before from a friend who played the game - I should have listened the first time. Posting simple games on here is a huge learning experience, so thanks for taking the time to chime in with your thoughts.

Shows promise, but right now it feels like a broken unity demo, probably because it is. Adding sound, cleaning up sprites, and removing dev data displays would greatly improve this.

thebrobotic responds:

I really do appreciate the honest feedback. I rushed to get it online last night so I didn't even notice the debug stuff was left in. I'm definitely going back and tuning the game based on everyone's feedback. I just wanted to execute the concept, Flappy Bird with a gravity flip, and I want to complete that vision without spending TOO much time. So I'll try to find a good balance of minimalism and polish. Thanks again.
