Pretty average, especially for an avid Final Fantasy fan (in particular II/IV). The drawing is pretty bad as well. The best part of this video is the nostalgic music.

I suppose it could have been more pointless but I don't really see how.
there is a difference between art that is crude and art that that is just plain bad to point of being annoying. Same thing goes for a rotten story.

Un-nostalgic nostalgia
While not the greatest flash movie, I recall watching this movie almost 10 years ago. I found it quite comical as the characters were unlike ANYONE in the Final Fantasy series. The intentionally crude design of the characters perfectly match their personalities.
The story premise allows viewers to take on a villain's perspective. Some of the story is absent and the intro is a bit misleading, but the concept is easy to grasp. Though, very little is known about the reason of the two main antagonists' quest for destruction.
The 6 star rating is for the nostalgia factor; I recall watching this as a teenager. Though quite comical, it is definitely not for everyone. It is quite short. Though it animates well, the characters and design are crude (this adds to its charm and appeal if this design suits you).
The developer did adhere to the subtitle; however, a more in-depth story or better character design would suffice.
