I really like this. Quite original. I particularly liked that you left your hand in the animation. It gave it a sense of game or creation.
As regards improvement, I think that a little bit more of variety (specially in the scenery and enemies) would've added an extra something, as well as more frames in the animation.
Anyways, it was great. Kudos!
