Really liked the game overall. However, the night level felt very trial and error, and some of the platforming was a little rough

Good lunch time killer
Truly impressive.
Sprites are well drawn, reminded me of castlevania.
Music is great.
Controls feel clunky, moving and jumping is annoying at first but then I got used to it.
I loved the attack system you made, having only a heavy attack and a light gun attack that stuns enemies and kills the dogs is marvellous. Instead of killing enemies mindlessly, the player has to choose between stunning an enemy or killing the dog an such.
The dark level was interesting, at first I thought "oh shit, why did you make the light source soo small" but then I realised that I was supposed to use my ears and gun to know the enemy placement, really good level.
My biggest letdown was the boss fight. Since fighting pawns was quite a difficult thing for me, I expected the boss to be a true challenge, but I defeated him in my 2° try. I think that his attacks were too predictable and his jumping was just too slow and easy to trick.
Overall, amazing game mate, if you were to work on those tweaks, I think that you just need to fix the platforming and the boss fight.
Dogs are fucking OP when combined with any other enemy. Other than that, Sprites was great, Music...Succeeded in being what it wanted to be. Controls weren't the best. I also think all the platforming wasn't needed.
The game is fun but i swear the platforming segments seem wonkey and there are times where i just fall straight through plats. Also the attack we have kinda makes the game feel....incredibly tedious. Like why not give us light attack that deals less damage but is faster. I hope this game gets updated in the future i'd love to playthis more. But its too....odd to continue in this current state. Not calling it bad at all. I would reccommend this game. It is fun but its a bit uncomfortable. Also The OST....i like it...but too loud.
