I love this type of creative game format. The only thing I can think to offer is regarding any low star ratings here: maybe if it were done in a Pico 8 bit style, SOME people wouldn't feel the need to give one and two stars, but technically, I see this game is cool enough that people are probably comfortable with being super honest.
this is awesome! I love this gameplay mechanic. could use some more challenge. I mean the starting over from beginning challenge is always a fun idea (thinking back to fez) but it nees an additional stake or something more to solve. low stakes other than restarting is fun and the ability to reset is awesome (thank you so much for adding that)
Ill say this, i don't tend to like platformers, tho i still try them every once in a while. But i usually get bored quickly or frustrated, because honestly i'm bad at them. This game was beautifully made, and the revealing the layout with paint, was mesmerizing. It made me want to keep going! Well done, developer, for making a non platformer gamer, actually like your platform game :)
