It looks and feels great I just don't understand how to get off the first platform lol. This isn't your fault and I wish I could get further to experience the game but all I could muster was falling off the platform and having to retry over and over again. Am I missing something? What am I doing wrong?

as long as you stay against a wall, you fall slower, while carrying momentum, so throughout the first level, it is best to stick against a wall (remember that you can keep tapping spacebar to climb higher!)
the game was designed to be fairly challenging, so don't worry!
