i quite like it, altho it does feel like it was designed more for mobile gaming, with the way the controls work like touch controls would, i found it a bit difficult in some levels with those controls but nothing too excessive, i quite like the overall idea, music and art, good stuff overall and good work
ah and also, sometimes gravity feels a bit too slow to the game's pacing, but that's i think more of a personal preference
if you want, you could play around with the game's replayability by having different UFO's that maybe weight different/react differently to physics, that sounds like it could open a different range of moves you could pull off in levels
Thanks for the comment! I chose mouse controls because they allow for finer control, but allowing touch input is a nice bonus.
The gravity thing was supposed to be a mechanic: the closer you are to the planet's core, the stronger and less bouncy the physics are. I agree that the gravity starts slow but I don't think that's a problem.
I did plan more modes but the Jam's time didn't allow for that.
Thanks for playing!
The controls are confusing... it doesn't seem lirw the gravity or anything. Like the visuals and story though
I legit don't know what's wrong with the gravity.. though thanks for the comment!
somewhat good but the physics are bad
when I rotate the planet the eggo goes like everwhere
at the end its barely alive
edit: I was being careful that's what made the eggo lose health
I just moved it slightly and the eggo goes in the opposite direction
edit2: ok found a way around questionable physics; let the eggo slide like, a lot
Well yeah you have to be careful
Edit: uhhh not so sure. The physics may be hard to wrap your head around but they totally make sense.
Cool concept, but it feels unfinished. You should try polishing up the controls, or maybe making it so you use the arrow keys instead of the mouse. The physics also at times bugged out, so I'm not sure what that was about. I think this game has a lot of potential, so I really hope to see a more polished version. :)
Thanks for the comment! Well, it is a jam game, but bummer it feels unfinished. I will not budge on the controls though, using the arrow keys to control this was a nightmare and this feels very natural to me.
Edit: As it turns out I have budged on the controls. You can use the arrow keys now and it's not half bad.
