Thanks for clearing this up for me. I have wondered this myself.

If the world of pokemon is about enslaving animals to fight to the death for amusement, what about the humans? Never seen a store, food place, or hospital for humans. Not even a school... 10 year olds just leave home to become slave master and parents says: "OK. Good luck."
