Reviews for "Reality Shift Demo"

Kinda short but thats not so bad really per say. Feels kind of empty without any sound (unless there is sound and Im experiencing some kind of browser based glitch in which case woops sorry). Ran into an funny glitch(I think?) with one of the rocket launching guys who was moving, I jumped onto its head and it was continuing to back up, then what I think was the glitch kicked in when I managed to jump behind him. He started going the other way at high speed like he was running away from me lol

It did that till he hit the wall at the end of the stage where I put him out of his misery (may he rip). Had an ok time with it and I like the kind of game boy look this has with the shades of green. Nice job on this.

Thanks for the review! I'm not sure what caused those glitches so I'll try to work on that

this would've been a great game if it had sound, and if it had some form of special game mechanic, otherwise it'd be like any other platformer. i don't see the "reality shift" part of the game. other than that, it has potential.

itsNiima responds:

Thanks! not sure what happened to the sound, I'll try to fix that. You're right, I still haven't really made anything for it to have "reality shift", but I'll work on that.

Really simple. But pretty good. I like the art style in it.

I think this is a very solid demo! The only thing I would suggest is refining how the game feels when you go further into developing it. I feel like the jump should be dependent on holding it down to get max height, and that the attack is way too quick. Plus, I do feel that it can be hard to see in some areas where to go, especially with the last area due to the colors meshing in with the background. But, for a demo, I think it is a good start! Keep it up and I hope to see this turn into a completed game.

itsNiima responds:

Thanks for the feedback! I will try to improve those things

nice and short
