I did enjoy the game a heap but it just seemed to get too difficult at lvl 4, the attacks can be unpredictable and the momentum that carries over, not only from the dash but also from just moving, seems to be way too much.
I do enjoy playing games with a high difficulty but this just got more tedious than fun, especially with the little tiny things.
Overall solid game tho, good work.
Mechanically and aesthetically fine but I responded to death by audibly grumbling "oh, fuck off" a few too many times to say I was having a good time before calling it somewhere in level 2. Maybe I'm just too tired for this shit but the combination of the timer making me want to hurry and the utter lack of forgiveness of being booted back to the start of the stage after every slight fuck-up really wore on me very quickly.

This sort of difficult game could really use checkpoints. Having to restart the whole level is incredibly punishing when you die in one hit to anything.
I like the curved TV aesthetic and the pixel art is very nice. The speedrun element of the game is also very fun. However, playing the game normally is monotonous, with it being far too punishing to restart the entire level when it takes just one hit to kill you. I would consider either checkpoints or increasing the character's hit points. Overall, a fun game, just much harder than it should be.
