Neat little game! There's one little issue though, the projectiles.
I think that you should limit them to a maximum of 3 per screen, I was able to win fairly quickly by just spamming the use key...
(btw, Shiru is involved in this? He makes some great homebrews)

I had considered limiting projectiles but I personally thought it was more fun with them being unlimited. I do need to try to tune the difficulty of the game more, and in future development I need to decide whether to limit projectiles, or to design the levels with more platforming obstacles to make it more difficult to keep your power-ups.
I used music/sound effects by shiru8bit from Opengameart.org that were free to use under Creative Commons. I haven't had any contact with him and he wasn't involved in the development of this demo.
