Looks great. Keep up the good work

Looks cool, but I don't get how traps are supposed to be used, they don't seem to work at all

HelperWesley responds:

Yeah, we could have given more UI hints for that. 🤔

Place them on the lane with the eyeball in the space where the player walks, then walk on the eyeball to trigger it.

Aesthetically it's really interesting and engaging, but it doesn't seem to be designed too well in most other aspects. Enemy health scales so slow that at some point you just get too much gold and no wave is honestly a challenge, so it gets really boring really fast. Gameplay itself doesn't offer much variety — no upgrades, no dynamics, no new enemies, no interesting stuff to explore, just damage maximization. There's also no narrative, no story, and it doesn't feel like i'm achieving anything. I sort of just exist here. Also, the main character not being able to move in a diagonal feels Horrible, and also having to walk to every individual lane to collect gold after a wave feels terrible. Auto-collect would be nice. Manipulating the map while on zoom-out would also be nice, because having to Walk to place turrets is really slow.

I'm just going to assume it's meant as a proof of concept and will have other aspects worked in over time or something, so based only on what's available, i'd say it's a pretty amaizing game. Can't wait to see it's final form

Thanks for the feedback! I made some changes based on what people were saying:

-Increase player movement a bit
-Increased enemy movement
-Changed enemy health scaling so it should be tougher in later rounds
-Increased the slow down from the slow trap more
-Added auto-pick up for the points at the end of each wave

Thanks again. 👍

I'm in full agreement with Volrath, made it to wave 11 before the initial enjoyment started to wear off
Slow movement is the biggest annoyance here, I also only ever used the teeth trap as the other two don't seem worth the effort or even their very cheap cost when there's an insta kill button for the same price
