I just can't understand where people could have discovered what happens in the book, considering the tight security prior to the release, which is why I can't really believe that the spoilers are real. Unless it was one of those Canadian copies.

But the publishers have said that the spoilers are fake. I guess we should just believe the publishers. Or SHOULD WE?

Actually they sold it early at 2 or 3 different places. A group of people bought it in Canada. Some poor shmuck kid with loser parents that made him return it bought it early from another place. And also 2 adult men bought it early at a place they 'refused to turn in, due to loyal patronage.' Anyway, there was a gag order put out by a judge for those who didn't return it. For the little boy who did return it, he gets the copy of the book back and some little gift pack thing for being a good sport. Kinda sad in my opinion. I'm a writer, and I think all of this gag order business is insane. All the problems to go through just to ruin a bunch of little kid's day, and it's leaked anyway. Anybody that doesn't want a spoiler shouldn't look through Harry Potter spoiler sites./forums.
