Reviews for "PunchOut 2 Intro"

Haha great

Haha nice man, loved it. Especially the part about Carl riding his bike in the park when he gets shot in the head. Hahaha keep up the good work.

nice!

I would of loved to see Mac and the Green dude fight traditional way! :-P, it is Punch Out.

You should of created a pixel background of buildings, with like the Punch-Out theme, and like making the green dude, like uppercuts and shit, like old way boxing. It could of been a nice twist!

But good job! I wanna see Chapter TWO!

AngelnX responds:

Ok my guess is that not THAT much people know Urban Champ. One of my favorites for Nintendo. but if i do it the traditional way, its not good at all for that particular scene. but dont get me wrong, the big fight in chapter two will be just like in the game. anyways, if u wanna get a copy of urban champ for the NEs emulator, IM me @ SlashWizzard, goes same for everyone else.

Excellent

That was by far one of the best storied submissions i've ever seen on Newgrounds. It sort of reminded me of the movies "Kill Bill" and "The Beach." You've definatly got potential in the directing business, just keep at it and look for bigger things.

Now for the Film.
I thought this was just great, you chose a great story for a great game, and you made it all tie together. I've never seen such personality in a sprite film like you've put into this. I took the time to watch the intro to this too, and it too tied into the movie, it was very well directed. I especially like the fight scene. It was very video game-esque. The movie kept me on the edge of my seat. I especially liked how you didn't make "Little Mac" some super fighter after prison, you made it look like he lost his talent as a fighter, it was magnificent. I found no major flaws in this, even the sprites you made looked very real. I liked the comic relief you had the the Duck-Hunt cameo, and I liked how you tied Duck-Hunt into the movie too.

All in all, this was an excellent film. By far one of my favorites on NewGrounds. Keep up the spectacular work. And I cannot wait till fall when I can see more of this.

P.S. Seriously look into directing actual movies, because I think you could do really good.

nicely done!

nes will never die. here is proof...unless it's blammed. whatever

Nice movie

I read trought the reviews and your responses... I dont care about your spelling cause it is a minor only... I am not so good on english myself and grammar but, divineslayer you picked on him because he wrote "cant" instead of canĀ“t or cannot please grow up man everybody does misstakes so dont pick on him anymore jesus, and you said he forgot commas... WHO GIVES THE DAMN WHERE HE IS FUCKING PLACEING HIS COMMAS!! and to you AngelX nice movie and you are responsing good to your messages. Hurry up with the second one I cant wait ^^ and finally I think that sprite movies often are better then hand drawn ones. people dont understand how much work it is behind sprite movies making them walk good and such, you got to draw much yourself cause the sprites cant do many things you want so GREAT jog on the sprite ripping ^^

AngelnX responds:

I gotta tell ya! I SO MUCH APPRECIATE ON UR COMMENTS ABOUT DIVINESLAYER!!!! Im glad youre on the same page. I mean who gives a fuck about these minor spelling or grammar errors ya know? As for chapter two, its gonna take longer cause i have my full-time job, full-time student, and my production business as well, but expect it hopefully by August!
