I'm not sure why I didn't add his theme, it's pretty cool.

This would make a captive game.

you should make this into a playable game, maybe using the snes emulator as a medium. i'd download and play it. who knows you might have a carear in rpg development. you can put me down as a reference;) keep up the worthy submissions!

Vinstigator responds:

Oh I'd love to make a game but I'm just barely getting into actionscript. Although one of my friends is making a CT game. So far, it kicks ass!

Not bad

It wasn't bad. Granted, it wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad. I liked the style of it and all that, and it was well animated. Magus went down far too quickly, though. Though you did say he may not have actually gone down. It was kind of boring, but nothig too bad. I liked the fact that it was CT, there aren't enough of those. Anyway, nice job with it, everything was good except that it was a little too slow. I look forward to your future episodes.

Vinstigator responds:

Thanks :)

Good

First of all Nucking_Futs your wrong about Lucca and her family living in 1999 AD because if you played the game their buddy 1999AD is the Day of Lavos and way in the future. Present day is 1000Ad where Crono, Lucca, and Marle live. Anyways i liked this submission and i hope you consider continuing the series.

Vinstigator responds:

Exactly. Thanks for explaining it :)

Glaring Errors Abound...

Allright this was a decent attempt but there are a few things that totally ruin it for an avid fan of Chrono Trigger such as myself.

First the general stuff, graphics were well put together and the sprite work was commendable, the bolt that Magus threw had an all to obvious black square surrounding it which took it down a few notches.

The stuff that is only obvious to an avid fan is that the room in which they teleport into at the start is not in fact in 600AD, it is part of the tower in which Chrono is confined in 1999AD after the trial concerning Marle... that can be forgiven because I recognize the attempt to create a mood with the torture devices, however the fact that you state that Lucca's father was killed by Magus in 1000AD is truly unacceptable. Lucca and her family lived in 1999AD and Lucca's father never travelled through time using the portals, if this is explained in futher episodes than this note may be ignored but it ruins the credibility of this submission from a continuity standpoint if this is indeed just an error on your part as the creator.
