Pretty neat, but..
Why downplay Magus so much? He rocks way harder.
Still, it was lots of fun, except for the way Magus was handled. =P
Say, if they killed Magus in the past then shouldn't the father have been revived since he was never killed by Magus who never went to the present to kill him because he was killed in the past but then Lucca would have never gone to the past to begin with because...
..well, forget it. Haha...

Got a lot of things spot-on.
I do like this - the author really has captured those old RPG's brilliantly - no, perfectly. I could really see this coming out on the Game Boy. The plot is very much like the original RPG's I just can't believe it! And, also - The music is just as annoying as it was then. However, I really can't see this going well into 10 parts, I really think unless the author has something really good up his/her sleeve then this series will lose its flavour after about 3 episodes.
Overall though, very good. I will definitely keep watching these.

Watch my "Day After" series (it's already at 14 parts) and you'll see that it got better as it went along (cuz of the character development I did). I plan to do the same here.
That would be cool if they turned my series into a game for Nintendo DS :P

I'm a traditionalist, sue me, but i've been playing crono trigger recently (sweet ps1 with cut sceans), and the idea that Crono would be beaten by magnus... then only for him to loose to frog so so wrong. Though other than that it's a neat little flash, the story was kinda wonky, but the use of the game's own animations were nice. Ok in all, but just felt wrong to me.
Funny thing is, I didn't use Frog that much :P

sure it may seem wrong to have magus defeat crono easily and frog to defeat magus quickly but was it wrong for marle to save the day single-handedly with an ice spell on a boss character? the author made the movie with creativity and made it original at least. it was pretty decent, except that the movie moved too slowly but it doesnt really matter. could've played magus's theme when he appeared tho =). that guy kicks ass.
btw, what was the song that played when lucca tried to use the pendant? i forgot what it was

I'd like to see the rest of it. While the story was well thought out, I think you should take the time to create some faster and more intense fight scenes, working on a sprite movie myself, I know that you did not take advantage of all the crono attack frames possible ^_^
