Hmm im starting to wonder if you lied about it being your first.. it was good, just the spelling was abit shoddy.. maybe abit more SoundFx too. Nice work.
Despite my name i dont like mario much, hes a fat italian plumber out to save a princess from a giant turtle.. rubbish story.
But the gameplay of mario games are alright.
Spelling
You might want to check your spelling next time. "Princess" not "Prinses" or however you spelled it. Other than that, it wasn't bad for a first try. It wasn't anything exciting or new, but that can always be improved.
