More Metal Gear than Minecraft.
I can't help but see the Metal Gear series while listening to this than I do Minecraft. That's not saying that I don't like it, it's very good, it just doesn't make me think of Minecraft.
Nevertheless, this would sound cool as background music for minecraft quests...or Terraria... *shrugs* Good job either way. ^^;
The more agitated area of the song is supposed to resemble you exploring a cave fighting the monsters since they never seem to end in them. :3

I think it sounds like more of a Silent Hill kind of song.
I can see where MInecraft comes into it though.
