Potential
There's definite potential here. Being an AD&D player myself, I enjoyed the familiar return to the system. The lack of balanced ability score influence was a definite hindrance (an actual rolling method from AD&D would have been better), and not being able to have exceptional strength despite being a Fighter was also a letdown. Constitution had less of an effect as it would for a fighter in AD&D as well.
A bit more variety in options, greater length, a more intuitive and comprehensive system, and a less generic story would have made the game far more entertaining. It has the potential, it just doesn't go all the way with it.
