mouse only play hampers game
solid design and upgrades if you ar e just going for simplicity and straight forward gaming,
but you should have keyboard (arrows) play as optional, since mouse play for shooters is not preferred by everyone,

But most of the shooters aren't of the "Japanese-styled amount of bullets" kind, where maneuverability and speed are of the utmost importance.

Only thing I disliked was all the different colors of the enemies weapons and the crystal looking thingies you had to collect that were all different colored too. Was kinda confusing. I would keep the enemy weapons color to just maybe 2 or 3 colors and same with the little crystal things(different colors than the enemy lasers of course) and maybe give the little crystal things a different shape. maybe more of a larger square or something like a crate. but overall, a good time killer that was enjoyable.

Very fun!
It was a little hard to tell the diffference between the enemy fire and the pickups, but a quick pull from the shield tells you. I got to wave 31, 77k score. Didn't bother posting it.

It's just another generic shoot-em-up with nothing fun or interesting about it.

Well, I guess since the beginning the idea was to just create a fast-paced shooter where you don't have to think too much (which explains lack of story) and so we went on with it AND we created what we created - a yet another shoot-em-up whose distinguishable characteristics are difficulty and variety in enemy tactics :).
